Tuesday & Today (20 of 30)

First, sorry for not posting yesterday… Tuesdays are difficult with fire department stuff in the evening.  Now that I’ve given you my feeble excuse here are the details…

Tuesday – April 3, 2007

Run

  • Distance: 4 miles
  • Time: 34:09
  • Calories: 575 cal
  • Avg HR: 159 bpm
  • Max HR: 180 bpm

Overall, I feel pretty good about this run.  My HR stayed down for most of the run (159 avg) and I was able to keep a pretty solid pace – I felt good.  I pushed the pace up to about 7:30 for the last 1/2 mile or so and that got my HR up a little… Bottom-line I feel like my fitness is improving each day, little by little.  I’m going to look back and see where I was a year ago – I’ll keep you updated.

Today – April 4, 2007

Planned Workout

  • 1 x 1 mile warm-up
  • 4 x HILL
  • 1 x 1 mile cool down

So far, yet today – no workout.  I’ll let you know if I get it in.
