Drat! I actually wrote this yesterday, but forgot to post it last night. I fell asleep on the couch! Anyhow, I’ll give myself this one as a freebie!
Once again, no run today. No exercise. No workout. Work has been incredibly busy and stressful. Even on my ‘Free Thinking Friday’, where we’re not supposed to have any meeting scheduled in the afternoon, I had meetings, meetings, and more meetings. No time to get to the gym, barely time to eat lunch.
My goal for the upcoming week is to get in early morning runs. This way if I make a lunchtime run or swim or spin class – it’s a big bonus! In order to achieve this goal, I need to do the following starting on Sunday:
- Go to bed earlier: In bed by 10:30 pm, no later.
- Get everything ready the night before: I need to be organized and ready to go.
- Get up! Seems the most obvious, but I need to get up when the alarm rings and get moving.
So, there it is. I put it out there, a challenge to myself. 5:00 am workouts.
Think I can do it? I do!
